You know, the first time I came across this - I was amused. First would be the weird and funny name.
Second, would be Will's amusing face with the huge shades that made him look like a fly from afar. Nevertheless, both were also the reasons that made me go hunt for the trailer.

For those of you who don't know what this is about yet - watch the trailer.

I got hooked definitely. Watching the trailer - i went - Hey! Not bad. I wanna watch this movie alright! I mean, always have been a fan of Smith and all the great characters he took.
.
Serious with a dash of action & humor. You will never leave a movie where he is starred without his ever-amusing facial expressions.

So then I came to this in AMBP and I thought WHY NOT?

So here goes...

i) Who plays the eponymous character in the movie Hancock?
Will Smith

ii) Fill in the blanks: In a bid to save a whale, Hancock heaves it out to sea, only to see it smash a sailboat.

I can never forget the time when MIB used to be a hit. Everytime there a spoken word of it, the first thing that pops in my head is... Will Smith of course.
So now he stars as Hancock in this upcoming movie, that will be in the cinemas on 3rd July 08 in Malaysia.
Hancock here is a homeless superhero. He has the powers but of course in this movie, this particular superhero doesn't know anything about the responsibility that comes along in the package. Save to say, he forgot his handbook of Superhero 101!

Yeah he may have the strength like Mr. Incredible or he can jump high up like The Hulk to save humankind but one thing about his deeds are, they always leave behind unwanted impacts that slowly drive the citizens insane. So they hate him.

Being the Hancock he is, he doesn't care about what people think until...
something happen that will change all that!
Having said that, I don't know about all of you, but I think Hancock here needs some extra edits to make him a much better superhero in this movie. :lift an eyebrow up:

Like for the fact that, he needs some extra guidance in life you know what I mean :look at picture below:
A superhero has got to look like one. lol

Then there another fact that he might need a little extra hand when he is out and about to help mankind...let's say a gadget of some sort perhaps?

One thing that every superhero movie will never forget is to jazz up the superhero to look the part in the end:
