They all are celebrated days. Special days that bring people together.
Birthdays. Speaking of birthdays. I wonder if anyone out there celebrating their bday on Xmas day? That will be so cool. Extra presents!!! XD

I bet that every little kid in this world would be so fond of birthdays. Afterall, being young and vibrant, birthdays are the ONE special day where they are the center of all. That little kid sees him or herself as the main character.
Do you remember the time you celebrated your birthdays when you were younger?
Where you get all excited with your new clothes. You parents and siblings wishing you HAPPY BIRTHDAY the moment you wake up to your best day ever!
You all eager and driven for a birthday party celebration where all your friends and family will join in your celebration as you grow a year older - getting bigger. The toys you know you will receive as gifts from many.
Not forgetting the food of course!
All that yummy food. Party or not party - food is a must. It brings everyone together to enjoy delicious food as laughter enlights the day.
Funny friends and family members sharing happy moments of your birthday. Snapping photos away as memories stored in albums and scrapbooks so that when you're older, your parents will once again miss the times you were young and innocent - prolly even showing off your baby photo with the birthday hat on your hat to your *crush* haha.
Yes. Birthdays. The wonderful gifts. The awesome feeling of getting loads of wrapped boxes ans packages and the excitement of wanting to know what is inside each nicely wrapped packages as you tear them open.
And then of course there's other things to look forward to when birthdays were celebrated during the years we were all so young and small!!!!
BIRTHDAY CAKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How could anyone possibly forget about the cake!
All creamy and colorful. Maybe even images of your favourite cartoon character?
And you clap and smile in joy as they bring out the huge birthday cake with candles representing how old you are already.
Each candles lighted with flame as everyone sings you the Happy Birthday song.
You smile and you laugh. The greatest feeling ever. To have all those that love you and those that you love, being with you and singing you a birthday song.
Finally, as the song comes to an end. You're given a moment where you are alone with your own thoughts. Eyes shut as you wish in front of the lighted candles. Wishing the best birthday wish that year. Hoping tht it will come true.
And as soon as you open your eyes with joy, you blow the candles and everyone cheers and claps for you. YOU. The birthday person. The little boy. The litthe girl. The celebrated one.
But of course, as years go by, things change. Birthdays might remain the same. Might get better. Might be different. Cake isn't a much wanted priority anymore. Or you might choose to celebrate your birthday with those your age - party outside till the breaking dawn or dance till the moonlight goes away.
Presents may still be the representing item of the celebration but of course, toys are not a wanted wish anymore. Some may not even look forward to birthdays anymore as it symbolises aging and the lost of youth.
But no matter what it is, birthdays are days that you were given a life. A starting point where you became who you are today. It should not be something to feel ashame about jsut because you're losing your youth and you're getting older; the candles are getting bigger and more. It's about celebrating who you've became and to be with everyone you love; sharing moments of laughter and much more.
Afterall, how many times a year do you get people singing birthday songs to you???
Or even have cake smashed at your face???
